Was Ronald Reagan Tough On Terrorism?
I think the answer is no. After this Reagan retaliated by leaving. No surprise. After all, to secure hostages he gave weapons to terrorists. To battle an already crumbling Soviet Union he continued to funnel money and weapons to bin Laden and his cohorts.
So when I hear the neo cons say we need to embrace the principles laid forth by Ronald Reagan, I wonder what part. The cut and run? The fund and arm the terrorists? The amnesty of millions of illegal aliens? The raising of taxes eleven times? Who knows?
