GOP is Playing Dirty Pool. Nothing More.

What will this new breed of ultra right wing conservatives declare war on next? I am going to be bold and predict this: Health care coverage for Sickle Cell Disease. Watch the one minute clip below before you read any further.

Seems far fetched, doesn’t it? Would the GOP be so blatantly racist? To be honest, I don’t think racism will have anything to do with it. For you see, the strategy being put forth by the GOP is quite simple. It has unfolded for the last three years or so. It is a very concentrated effort. Pin point. What they are doing is going after any and every group, one by one, that doesn’t vote Republican. Don’t think so? Let us examine this further.

Kasich, Walker, Christie, etc etc. When they entered office we saw an obvious attack on unions. Disguised of course as “budgetary measures”. But we know better than that. As these far right conservatives took from the hard working middle class union workers, they gave that taken money right over to big corporations in the form of corporate welfare. They demonized firefighters, police, paramedics, teachers, postal workers, and the list goes on and on. Tell me where I’m wrong on this. I dare you.

Watch the next clip from Fox News. Even they see the truth:

As the war on unions and public workers continues, we also witnessed an attack on undocumented workers, illegal aliens, border jumpers, or whatever else you want to call them. I like to just call them, humans. But that’s just me. I’m crazy like that. But getting back to the task at hand. Why was this done? This was done for a couple reasons. First it was to lather up the base. Nothing gets the base worked up like someone who could live in their own neighborhood, stealing from them. That is how they envision it. Second reason is that its just a payoff. A payoff to the private prisons who lobbied for said law. Yes. Private, for profit companies to run prisons. How do you turn a profit off of prisons? Why you ensure you have a good supply of prisoners. Enter the new Arizona Immigration Law. And lastly, we have the most sinister reason. To lay doubt in people’s minds about voting. That is right. Make it seem that people are here illegally and the reason they are here is because the Democrats want them here. Want them here so they can get their vote! Which sets our next attack by the GOP.

The attack on voting rights. I am quite honestly getting tired of explaining to people how the “Voter Fraud” problem that everyone talks about, pretty much doesn’t exist. Unless you count a handful of idiots who vote at the wrong place or fill out a form wrong. But there is no plot, no illegal votes swaying elections. No people being bused in from other districts swaying elections. No dead people’s votes deciding the elections. It is just not happening. Or, so says a study fronted by the Bush Administration: HERE But this tactic is nothing new. It has just evolved. Here is a sampling from a piece describing voter fraud in March of 2007:

{A belief in rampant voter fraud in Democratic strongholds — big cities, minority neighborhoods — is widespread among Republicans, and claims of vote buying and the like have long been a mainstay of GOP rhetoric. The party has used these claims of voter fraud to help build public support for what it considers electoral reforms, like requiring voters to show photo ID — reforms that also tend to suppress Democratic turnout on Election Day.

During the Bush administration, a rhetorical tool became public policy. The Republicans could not get a photo ID law through the Senate, but they were able to enlist the 93 United States attorneys in their crusade against voter fraud. In 2002, then-Attorney General John Ashcroft announced an initiative that required “all components of the [Justice] Department” to “place a high priority on the investigation and prosecution of election fraud.”}  The full piece can be found HERE  (sidenote: those interested in learning a bit more about voter suppression should check this out HERE

So let us go over what we have covered so far: War on Unions. War on brown people. War on voting rights. Let’s see….what did I miss. Oh yeah, the war on women! We have had the attempt to defund Planned Parenthood. A non profit  that provides much needed care to women. From breast cancer screenings to pap smears. Oh, and they do abortions from time to time. “Over 90% of what they do is abortions” according to Sen. Jon Kyl. Of course he was way, way, way off. But facts don’t matter in todays brand of politics. Kyl story HERE. We have also watched as places like Virginia who wanted to “vaginally probe a woman” before she was allowed to have an abortion. Just watch below:

Add to that this fake uproar about employer coverage of birth control and we have a recipe for some pissed off women. But why attack women’s rights? It isn’t going to get those women to vote for them? Why do this at all if you’re the GOP? Why pick this fight? Two words. Religious Right. The Religious Right has been voting faithfully (pun intended) for the GOP for decades now. Always being promised that once elected, they would overturn Roe v. Wade. Of course never delivering. This whole “War on Women” we are seeing…it is just a way to pacify the Religious Right. To show them that their vote is not being wasted. To stick by them! They have their back. Nothing more. Nothing less. Because we all know that Roe v. Wade will never be tackled seriously by the GOP. Ever. Never. Not going to happen.

So do I think the Republican Party doesn’t like hard working people in the unions? Do I think the Republican Party despises brown people? Does the great and powerful crap4face, the Undisputed Heavyweight Champ of Politics, think that the GOP do not want Americans to have equal access to the right to vote and women to have birth control or abortions? Actually, no to all of them. except the “Brown people” one. Still on the fence about that. But seriously…the only reason we are seeing these so called ”Wars” being waged, is that these people tend to vote Democrat. That is all. The Republican Party is not trying to win these people’s votes over by treating them like a six pack of crap. Rather they are trying to disenfranchise them. Make it so that union guy who pulls 60 hour work weeks to make ends meet might just start questioning why he even votes. Why he even bothers to vote for a Democrat. because after all, we have a Dem as Commander in Chief and he has been virtually silent during this assault on labor. The GOP is trying to make it so that elderly person concerned with tho possible privatization of Medicare and Social Security will find it tougher to vote. They are also doing this to keep the Republican base happy and faithful.

Keep their usual votes coming in at the same rate and just decrease the other sides vote. Don’t improve your position. Just impede theirs. Where I come from, that’s called dirty pool. But what do we do? What does a voter do in this instance? I’m open to suggestions? By the way, I wasn’t serious about the GOP taking on Sickle Cell Health Care next. Unless they do. Then I was.

Email me at crap4facepolitics@gmail.com or just comment below. Thanks. Enjoy Stevie Ray Vaughn- Dirty Pool as you let this marinade.

I hope this continues to happen. I hope it happens to all….I said ALL politicians that put profits before people. That worry more about corporate interests instead of public interests.

food4brain: Rick Scott At It Again; Corporations Run The Show; McConnell The Douche

food4brain: GOP Not For Transparency; Rand Paul Speech On Patriot Act; Walker Anti Union Law Negated & more

I  wish the GOP would make up their minds. Are you for transparency or not. I love the spin of how this would enable the President to punish those who give to the GOP! Hilariousness. Read About It Here

I call them as I see them. Last week I blasted Rand Paul. Here. This week he gets props. He throws down a good speech about how terrible the Patriot Act is for America. Read About It And Watch It Here.

This is pretty interesting. One of these kids isn’t doing his own thing. They are all doing someone else’s thing, or helping to hide it… only one is being punished for it. Edwards/Ensign/Coburn

Scott Walker. In case you don’t know who he is, I think this sums it up. Here. Now that we have cleared that up! So the anti union law they rushed through, well it’s been struck down. Everyone saw this coming. Read About It.

food4brain 4/26/11(early) Breitbart with another selectively edited clip out of context; Sean Hannity has a case of the Breitbarts as well; child labor laws under attack; Walker cries about recalls

Breitbart with another gem. It is supposed to show how unions are evil, thugs and violent. ho hum… yawn.

Sean Hannity trying to show that the media has a liberal bias. Problem is, media is all run by big corporations. No big corporation that I know of is liberal or progressive. Hannity Failage complete w/ context

Remember this. Remember when all those opposed to unions said we didn’t need them. Remember when they said we had laws on the books to protect workers. Problem is this: What good is a labor law if you are going to throw it out the window. Who do you think will put it back? Child Labor Laws Are Under Attack

Scott Walker of Wisconsin is crying. Crying that the recalls underway are making it tough for things to get done. Good you dipshit. The douchebaggery you unleashed was horrible. Maybe you should just sit in the corner and think about it for a bit. Walker Crying

I will post this letter every morning. Every single morning. Never forget what war does to the families. Here is a link to the audio that explains how everything went down. Stand Up With Pete Dominick Audio

This was a letter to Pete Dominick. Host of Sirius/XM Stand Up w/ Pete Dominick. Mrs. Wyatt’s husband was killed right before their baby was born.

Katherine Wyatt April 23

Derek should have met his son for the first time today. He should have gotten off the bus with the rest of his platoon and hug me and kiss me. He should have been able to hug and kiss his mother, father, brothers, nieces, and nephew. He should have been able to eat his favorite dinner: lasagna, green bean casserole, and garlic bread. He should have been able to sleep in his own bed, taken a real shower in his own home, and slept in bed holding his wife and sleeping thru the baby crying. He should have been able to do all the things he deserved to do with/in his life. We should have been able to raise our child and grow old together. Please Pete, dont let them forget. Do not give the men and women in power the satisfaction of being able to go thru their day to day lives without feeling a fraction of the pain my family and the 23 other families like mine have to live with every day. Do not let them live in a naive bliss that comes with the comfort of money and power. To the people who are guiding and feeding this out of control war, the military is like a hooker. They dont care what the individual person’s story is or wither the hookers of the world are taken care of, all they care about is getting what they paid for getting back to their families. Forgotten as soon as they are introduced. Just another face in the crowd. Just another story they are not actuaclly interested in. Just more people they can fuck over and but then say “we support you, but we dont feel that your family is more important than continuing with this war” and “your husband died for our nation and establishing democracy in a poor country…….but we will bitch about Planned Parenthood funding before we concern ourselves with making sure you get paid.” Dont let them forget that those funerals they attend have real bodies in those caskets and those men and women in uniform they “support” are actually dying. I know you dont have the power to end this war, but you have the voice to make America listen and begin to understand. Take care

food4brain Late Night Snack

This is a week or so old. Just throwing it out there for those not aware. Michelle Rhee has been exposed. I will touch on it more tomorrow in part2 of  Public Schools Be Gone.  Michelle Rhee Caught

Since he is white…it is considered smart. If this guy was black…..Fox News would be telling the American people how mad they should be about his actions. I want to punch this man in his face

In case you didn’t know, just going to let you know: Paul Ryan is a douche bag. That is all. Oh yeah. One last thing. This is why

and a new feature to food4brain. It is a little something I like to call. “Just Read The Comments” I will basically select an entry from a website that I think has the most douche chill and craptastical comment section. So enjoy. This article is brought to us by those fab race baiters at The Blaze. Good old Glenn Beck’s own site. It is an entry about an arrest of a muslim woman in france for daring to cover her face.    Just Read The Comments

We Are One Event April 4

For those of you who do not know why April 4th was/is so important to the labor movement, you need to get your head out of your asses. Yes, I know, Snooki was at Wrestlemania last night and so was the Rock. Tough to focus when such scary important things like that are going down, but just try.

April 4 is important because on that date in 1968 a great man and leader was murdered. Martin Luther King. On that day he was in Memphis in an effort to assist the efforts of the sanitation workers. An effort to help them have a union. An effort to collectively bargain.

Some may ask themselves, “What does labor have to do with civil rights?” The answer is easy. It has everything to do with civil rights. Laborers are also considered second class citizens. Don’t think so? How many high end houses have service entrances? I have been to many a house to do work and they have had service entrances. Usually tucked in the back of the house. Usually far away from the front door. Most times a complete trek away from the area you will be working on. Why would one have an entrance like that? The front door isn’t good enough for a laborer? I didn’t say that. But those having a service entrance say that. That’s for sure. I had this discussion before with some friends and they called me crazy. Of course I am. But not on this. They informed me it is just more convenient for the workers and the residents of said house. It is just for people working at the house. Okay, let us play this game. I doubt if their lawyer was coming over to go over some important information, I doubt they would send them to the service entrance. After all, they are just paid service. Doubt a Doctor would have to use the entrance….but I bet a Nurse or care giver would. Gardener? Service entrance. Butler? Service entrance. Doctor? Front door. Lawyer? Front door. Stock Broker. Front door. Sorry, but that is the way I see it. It’s passive aggressive douchebaggery. That is all. Anyone who works with their hands is a second class citizen in their minds….they are not alone in these thoughts. We hear it everywhere. We see it on display right now in Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey and the list goes on and on. The working class, service entrance workers are being used, being attacked and being tapped to pay for the ones who are “worthy” enough to use the front door. Class warfare. Class canibalism. It’s that simple.

This April 4th I took a trip to IBEW local 269 in Trenton to hear a panel discuss Martin Luther King and what he stood for and how it pertains to what is going on with the assault on collective bargaining. The panel included: U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, Congressman Rush Holt, Princeton University Professor and economist Paul Krugman, Afmerican Federation of Teachers national President Randi Weingarten, NJ NAACP President James Harris, Charles Hall, Jr., President of RWDSU Local 108 and Chairman of the Working Families United for New Jersey Coalition, Charles Wowkanech, New Jersey State AFL-CIO President, Sheryl Gordon, AFSCME Council 1 Executive Director, and Rahaman Muhammad, SEIU Local 617 President and SEIU New Jersey State Council President.

The event started off like any other event I have attended at a union hall. With the pledge of allegiance and a prayer. I know. I know. Right now the Tea Party members and Glenn Beck fans are in shock. They were thinking we started these things off with a reading from The Weatherman Underground Manifesto. (do they have one?) Followed by using the American flag as a snot rag. Sorry to dissapoint. Sorry, but we love this country as much as you. WE also want this country back as well. Difference is, we want it back from corporations…you want it back from the colored guy and his new Black Panther party. Quiet. if you listen closely you can hear some rube yell “DAMN RIGHT I WANT IT BACK FROM DAT DERE MOOOZLIM!”

So after the pledge, after the prayer, we moved onto a montage of some of Martin Luther King’s speech on that day. In the crowd was spontaneous bursts of applause and “Amen”. I am not going to lie, I got a bit teared up. After that each speaker had five minutes to speak on Martin Luther King and the labor movement. Paul Krugman (who I got to talk to and have audio of below) was up first and gave his usaual lay out of the big picture. I can’t say I disagree with much of what he ever has to say. Today was no different. Each person speaking after seemed to out do the last. Very moving. Very enlightening. I’d write word for word what they said but I think it would be best if you watched it yourselves. It will be posted here shortly. http://www.workingfamiliesunitedfornj.org/

Some of the most important points made were about how unions and collective bargaing really helps everyone. Not just the unionized worker but the other workers around them. It raises the bar for wages and for safety. Need proof? Just look at those Right to Work states. Those are anti-union states. Workers in those states make 4% less than the “union friendly” states. Another great point, and funny as well, was how when the public workers were under attack in Wisconsin, the public and the unions came together in solidarity like we have not seen in…well, about forty three years.

I will expound on this day much more later in the week. Just wanted to drop in and place an update on as soon as possible. be sure to check out the videos, the pictures, and the great fifty seconds of me and Nobel Prize winning Paul Krugman. What did I ask him? What any good friend of Pete Dominick, host of Stand Up with Pete Dominick on Sirius/XM PoTUS channel would ask of course.

I decided to add a little music on to the end…just for that little extra something something.

How The People Should Handle Wisconsin

DO NOT STRIKE! That would play into Governor Walker’s hands. Who am I kidding, he isn’t calling the shots. That would be playing into the hands of the corporations and the GOP’s hands. What do you think Citizens United was all about. First you build it up in people’s minds that Unions and Corporations are on the same level, then get them to give both an equal voice on par with everyday citizens, next you systematically take apart the Unions so now the leverage and money all goes to the corporation’s best interest. That corporation being the GOP.

So if the public workers decide to strike in Wisconsin, Walker will just shit can you all. That simple. Do you think he does not have a complete plan to replace everyone? He does. Why do you think he still has the Private Security he hired a couple of years ago. He would fire all workers, bus in Private Security and the National Guard and fill in the rest as he went. That is what he wants. You strike. He will do it. He’s a super douche. He’s proved it.

So what to do? What to do? Like the late great Howard Zinn said, “Their is nothing wrong with a little civil disobedience.” You march, you boycott, you march again, you hang signs, you march again. You do anything and everything except strike….and under no circumstances make threats or become violent. We know Walker just might have the Brothers Koch bus some “thugs” in to do it, but by no means do WE do it. It would disgrace all the hard work and effort that the thousands and thousands have done since this whole nightmare began.

So what you need to do in Wisconsin is the little things. You find the Union friendly stores and businesses. You buy there. You find the stores and businesses that supported Walker and the other GOP members who voted for this bill, and you boycot them. You march out front. Fire, Police, Teachers, and all other public workers: You do “Informational Pickets” before and after your shifts. (If it is not barred in this new bill) But if it is not barred, the workers must be out there day after day, night after night. Next up is to recall everyone who you possibly can. You march in front of the GOP houses as well. You let them know that you are not going to forget what they have done. But be civil. Remember, the key to the civil disobedience is to be civil. If not, it is all for not. If you see someone getting out of hand, you put a stop to it. If you hear rumblings of a plan to do something illegal, you shut it down! That is paramount.

Civil disobedience. Power to the people. WE are ONE. It’s not going to be easy for us. But if you go on strike, you make it easy for THEM.
