 bin Laden has been shot and killed. Dead. Done. Barack Obama gave the order to take him out and SEAL Team 6 took him out. So why are people playing politics over this. It amuses me of the hypocrisy from the right. It truly does.

 When Clinton was President, he failed to act and bin Laden got away. He was buried for it by the right for being weak.  They said he lacked balls for not being able to get the job done. Clinton’s Missed Chances. After the 9-11 attacks, the right then took it upon themselves to point to Clinton again. Clinton Blamed. Funny how the right seemed to forget that their hero funded bin Laden and his boys for years. Ultimately creating the beast. Reagan Hearts bin Laden. I never heard anyone on the right make that connection. Not one. The days after 9-11, George W. Bush vowed to get bin Laden. Wanted Dead or Alive. Bush then deployed troops to Afghanistan…as quickly as that began, he left bin Laden and set his sites on Sadaam and Iraq. Even the Dixie Chicks knew that was a bat shit crazy move. They paid the price for that though. Dixie Chicks black balled. Funny isn’t it. I don’t recall the right defending freedom of speech then. I guess they only chime in for important issues like this. Anyway, back to my rant. Even before Bush has us go into Iraq, he is asked about bin Laden. His answer speaks volumes.

  So after Bill Clinton never had the balls to green light an operation to get him. After George W. Bush never had the balls to follow through either. Bush Fails to Act.  After Barack Obama came into office and vowed to kill bin Laden, he does so, and people attack him. The right is quick to point that it was the military who did it. Really? No shit. But who would they blame if the SEAL Team was captured or killed. Whose fault would it have been if bin Laden escaped? Now, maybe my military knowledge needs some brushing up on, but isn’t our military the same as it was… for like the last twenty years or so. I mean, what has changed? Clinton had this military. Bush had this military. Seems to me the only difference I see is Commander in Chief.

  I find it very disturbing the way the right is reacting…and the left for that matter.  The right is going after Obama because, in their opinion, is taking all the credit for killing bin Laden. Like this. Countless other bobble heads in the right wing echo chamber have chimed in as well. All I ever heard about Obama from the conservatives was that all he did was give good speeches. That he was an untested man. That he was not a man of action and spineless when it came to big decisions. So I would think that when this man of no action gives the green light on an operation to kill America’s number one enemy, that the right would be estatic that he is finally showing a spine. Nope. Instead they are mad at Obama for not making a good speech. Here is one example.  So what gives? It truly makes me question the civility. It really makes me angry. I understand that you wanted “your guy” to get him. But he didn’t. Was the goal to get rid of bin Laden? So if a goal is accomplished, why the bitching?  It truly makes me think if the right wing would of supported Al Gore or not, had he been President during 9-11. From what I am seeing, I say no. No they wouldn’t have. That is sad. That is disgusting. That is politics.
