GOP is Playing Dirty Pool. Nothing More.

What will this new breed of ultra right wing conservatives declare war on next? I am going to be bold and predict this: Health care coverage for Sickle Cell Disease. Watch the one minute clip below before you read any further.

Seems far fetched, doesn’t it? Would the GOP be so blatantly racist? To be honest, I don’t think racism will have anything to do with it. For you see, the strategy being put forth by the GOP is quite simple. It has unfolded for the last three years or so. It is a very concentrated effort. Pin point. What they are doing is going after any and every group, one by one, that doesn’t vote Republican. Don’t think so? Let us examine this further.

Kasich, Walker, Christie, etc etc. When they entered office we saw an obvious attack on unions. Disguised of course as “budgetary measures”. But we know better than that. As these far right conservatives took from the hard working middle class union workers, they gave that taken money right over to big corporations in the form of corporate welfare. They demonized firefighters, police, paramedics, teachers, postal workers, and the list goes on and on. Tell me where I’m wrong on this. I dare you.

Watch the next clip from Fox News. Even they see the truth:

As the war on unions and public workers continues, we also witnessed an attack on undocumented workers, illegal aliens, border jumpers, or whatever else you want to call them. I like to just call them, humans. But that’s just me. I’m crazy like that. But getting back to the task at hand. Why was this done? This was done for a couple reasons. First it was to lather up the base. Nothing gets the base worked up like someone who could live in their own neighborhood, stealing from them. That is how they envision it. Second reason is that its just a payoff. A payoff to the private prisons who lobbied for said law. Yes. Private, for profit companies to run prisons. How do you turn a profit off of prisons? Why you ensure you have a good supply of prisoners. Enter the new Arizona Immigration Law. And lastly, we have the most sinister reason. To lay doubt in people’s minds about voting. That is right. Make it seem that people are here illegally and the reason they are here is because the Democrats want them here. Want them here so they can get their vote! Which sets our next attack by the GOP.

The attack on voting rights. I am quite honestly getting tired of explaining to people how the “Voter Fraud” problem that everyone talks about, pretty much doesn’t exist. Unless you count a handful of idiots who vote at the wrong place or fill out a form wrong. But there is no plot, no illegal votes swaying elections. No people being bused in from other districts swaying elections. No dead people’s votes deciding the elections. It is just not happening. Or, so says a study fronted by the Bush Administration: HERE But this tactic is nothing new. It has just evolved. Here is a sampling from a piece describing voter fraud in March of 2007:

{A belief in rampant voter fraud in Democratic strongholds — big cities, minority neighborhoods — is widespread among Republicans, and claims of vote buying and the like have long been a mainstay of GOP rhetoric. The party has used these claims of voter fraud to help build public support for what it considers electoral reforms, like requiring voters to show photo ID — reforms that also tend to suppress Democratic turnout on Election Day.

During the Bush administration, a rhetorical tool became public policy. The Republicans could not get a photo ID law through the Senate, but they were able to enlist the 93 United States attorneys in their crusade against voter fraud. In 2002, then-Attorney General John Ashcroft announced an initiative that required “all components of the [Justice] Department” to “place a high priority on the investigation and prosecution of election fraud.”}  The full piece can be found HERE  (sidenote: those interested in learning a bit more about voter suppression should check this out HERE

So let us go over what we have covered so far: War on Unions. War on brown people. War on voting rights. Let’s see….what did I miss. Oh yeah, the war on women! We have had the attempt to defund Planned Parenthood. A non profit  that provides much needed care to women. From breast cancer screenings to pap smears. Oh, and they do abortions from time to time. “Over 90% of what they do is abortions” according to Sen. Jon Kyl. Of course he was way, way, way off. But facts don’t matter in todays brand of politics. Kyl story HERE. We have also watched as places like Virginia who wanted to “vaginally probe a woman” before she was allowed to have an abortion. Just watch below:

Add to that this fake uproar about employer coverage of birth control and we have a recipe for some pissed off women. But why attack women’s rights? It isn’t going to get those women to vote for them? Why do this at all if you’re the GOP? Why pick this fight? Two words. Religious Right. The Religious Right has been voting faithfully (pun intended) for the GOP for decades now. Always being promised that once elected, they would overturn Roe v. Wade. Of course never delivering. This whole “War on Women” we are seeing…it is just a way to pacify the Religious Right. To show them that their vote is not being wasted. To stick by them! They have their back. Nothing more. Nothing less. Because we all know that Roe v. Wade will never be tackled seriously by the GOP. Ever. Never. Not going to happen.

So do I think the Republican Party doesn’t like hard working people in the unions? Do I think the Republican Party despises brown people? Does the great and powerful crap4face, the Undisputed Heavyweight Champ of Politics, think that the GOP do not want Americans to have equal access to the right to vote and women to have birth control or abortions? Actually, no to all of them. except the “Brown people” one. Still on the fence about that. But seriously…the only reason we are seeing these so called ”Wars” being waged, is that these people tend to vote Democrat. That is all. The Republican Party is not trying to win these people’s votes over by treating them like a six pack of crap. Rather they are trying to disenfranchise them. Make it so that union guy who pulls 60 hour work weeks to make ends meet might just start questioning why he even votes. Why he even bothers to vote for a Democrat. because after all, we have a Dem as Commander in Chief and he has been virtually silent during this assault on labor. The GOP is trying to make it so that elderly person concerned with tho possible privatization of Medicare and Social Security will find it tougher to vote. They are also doing this to keep the Republican base happy and faithful.

Keep their usual votes coming in at the same rate and just decrease the other sides vote. Don’t improve your position. Just impede theirs. Where I come from, that’s called dirty pool. But what do we do? What does a voter do in this instance? I’m open to suggestions? By the way, I wasn’t serious about the GOP taking on Sickle Cell Health Care next. Unless they do. Then I was.

food4brain: Budget Cuts Hurting The Poor; Tea Party Call Cops On Seniors; GOP Echo Chambers

Shocker! NJ budget cuts taking a toll on the poor. too poor for representation

Wal Mart says they sell mainly USA made products…. lets see

Wow. Remember when the Tea Party was so out spoken on the “cuts” proposed to Medicare by President Obama? Remember that? Well now since they are told eliminating Medicare all together is what they want and need, they are not hearing anything else. Especially from old people. Tea Party Hates Seniors

The GOP echo machine is unmatched. Just look at some of the things they have their followers believe. echo chamber

food4brain: The GOP Field… A Field of FAIL

This is what gets me laughing. people love to say Obama was untested, just a community organizer, no experience. I say those same things about Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and now Herman Cain. Only difference is, the people I spoke of gave you good reason to doubt their Presidential credentials.

Sarah gave me doubts when she couldn’t name a news paper she reads. Or when she did not know what the Bush Doctorine was. Or the time she said she has foreign policy experience because Russia is a couple hundred miles away. Donald Trump? Where should I begin. I think his complete lack of knowledge about the Constitution and our foreign policy is a good start. For a person to not see the connection to the right of privacy and how that pertains to abortion is laughable right there. Just as foolish is Trump saying he would just make Opec drop their prices. Oh, and we would just take all the oil from Iraq, Libya and just march into China and kick their butts too. Its all amature hour bullshit. You don’t see a high school freshman about to trying to get laid stumble and utter such foolish, narrow minded, just simply uninformed douche baggery.

So here is why the CEO of a Pizza place should never run the country. His complete lack of foreign policy knowledge is an embarrassment and speaks volumes of what the GOP is about if this guy winds up being taken seriously. Be sure to watch the video clap. Very douche chilled moments afoot right there. Herman Cain Fail

Dick Armey is thinkiing about recruiting Paul Ryan to run for President. Well, I can’t think of anyone else who would be better to lead a party of Dicks…I mean Dick’s. Paul Ryan for President

Newt Gingrich. Where do I begin. How about this: If you have to call into and apologize to a draft dodger, who never was elected to any office, pill popping, viagra smuggling, racist douchebag….pretty much, you should not be taken seriously. Yet again, this speaks volumes of how much of a joke the GOP is. Newt Bows Down Before Rush

Rick Santorum. I think I made my feelings known on him right here. I have nothing else to say about him. GOP FAIL!

Mitt Romney. I have to say, I don’t hate him. I just can not see how anyone can change his stance so many times. Plus he wears magic underwear…kind of creepy. Even his own people are walking away from him.

The only one who would get my vote is Ron Paul. This is why. It is also the same reason he will never get the nomination…he makes too much sense.

If I forgot anyone else…it’s because by douche bag tolerance meter was pinned. Maybe I will deal with them later, but for now I need a beer.

food4brain 5/16/11:CNN Anchor Admits He’s Gay;Lizz Winstead Fights Delta And Wins;Newt Didn’t Mean It;IMF Rape

Don Lemon has come out of the closet. I long for the days when this isn’t happening anymore. I long for the days when people will not have to ever be in the closet to begin with. Don Lemon is gay.

The Daily Show creator wanted to spend some time with her dying mother…Delta pulled the douche card, Lizz countered with people power. Lizz wins…Delta looks like assholes. Good for you Lizz and good for those that helped out. Sorry, I admit I didn’t help. Yesterday was Sunday. Much like George Takei and hubby Brad, Sunday is “wrestling” with the wife. It is so awesome to have a wife who doesn’t read my site.

After Newt Gingrich smacked around the GOP golden boy Paul Ryan’s budget plan, it seems Newt had time to reflect. (Get called by rich ass donors) After he “reflected”, he decided he really didn’t mean what you thought he meant. Newt walks it back.

Creepy IMF Head Dominique Strauss-Kahn gets busted for sexual assault. Shocker! A rich white guy who is used to getting whatever he wants, pays three grand a night for a hotel, but too cheap to get a hooker. So what do you do? Why you rape the lady who comes to give you fresh towels of course. After all, she isn’t rich, who will believe her? Maybe he was just doing an impression of a pro athlete? We will know if his wife walks out with a pink diamond.

Chalk another one up for the good guys. News flash for the owners: Fans pay to see the players playing a kid’s game. They didn’t pay to see the owners playing a kid’s game…Monopoly. Judge Orders NFL Lockout To End

Ron Paul, the O.T.P…Original Tea Party, well, he is running for President. If I was ever constructing the perfect president, I would more than likely use the good Doctors stance on foreign policy. Ron Paul Is In!

Paul Ryan is pretty much a douche. So is Chris Christie. So is Ayn Rand. This confirms said baggery.  Baggery Confirmed

Haley Barbour decides not to run… his waist line tells me he has made that decision over and over and over and over and over. KKK Moment of Silence

food4brain 4/22/11 U.S. pulling drones from Pakistan base;Ryan budget would add 6 trillion to spending;GOP tanking states on purpose.

Guess he needs them for Libya. Or…
drones pulled from Pakistan base

So Paul Ryan’s budget would add 6 trillion to the debt…so why is GOP fighting the raising of the debt ceiling? Right. Posturing. Ceiling

Its like I have been saying. The GOP does not care about you. Meaning humans. They only care about corporations. That is all. They are systematically tanking state after state on purpose. Just so once the state is bankrupt they will have no money and privatization of services will be implemented. Affordable at first. Then the screws will turn and you’ll be at their mercy. Kind of like stick having to buy the six dollar water at a baseball game. If you’re thirsty……you’re fucked.

food4brain:Paul Ryan booed at townhall; BP so safe, they get bonuses;Ensign to resign,Video of Newt going Wild!

Crowd at a town hall is not having Paul Ryan’s double speak. Good to see a town hall with informed people. Not like the crowds before who used to say “keep your government hands of my medicare!” Paul Ryan Booed

Does the douche baggery know no end? Outrage earlier when GM workers got bonuses. I haven’t heard a word about this from the right wing echo chamber. Please don’t say, “One got government money and the other doesn’t” Because that is false. Difference is, one gets money and has to pay it back, the other just pockets it. BP Kills people and gets paid well to do so

Ensign to resign. The cat in the hat and the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain….but anyway,  I just never new the dad from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was such a dirty dog.    See ya man whore

Dems Vote The Party Line. Right Wing Echo Chamber Begins.

So voting against a budget plan that would defund The Affordable Care Act seems to puzzle Joe Scarborough. Who is he kidding here? Don’t get me wrong, I like Joe. I think he is one of the most fair over in the right wing echo chamber. Okay. If he is not in the chamber, he is at least peeking in the window. I just think he didn’t think this one through. He reacted like…well like Palin or Hannity would of reacted. Joe, you are better than that.

If any Democrat would have voted for Paul Ryan’s budget plan, they would be, in turn, voting against themselves. They would be voting to defund The Affordable Care Act that they all voted for. Budget Plan Defunds ObamaCare

You know, kind of being for the Iraq war, before I was against it. Or being for the bridge to nowhere, before I was against it. So I am sure the echo chamber is in the process of branding this move by the democrats. Very positive that a new sharp catch phrase will be penned to describe this unity. I know this because lately that is the only thing the GOP has done right. They have an uncanny knack for doing that very, very well. The Cornhusker Kickback. The Louisiana Purchase. Drill Baby Drill. Flip Flop Flip Flop (man remember 2004?) Fight them there, so we don’t have to fight them here. Mission Accomplished….couldnt resist that last one. But I hope you see my point. We all know it is coming, brace yourselves.

Getting back to the party line vote for a moment though. I only have a problem so long as the vote doesn’t stink of  a “flop” like in sports. You know what I am talking about. A hockey stick goes nowhere near a player’s face and he falls to the ice in a heap grabbing his face. The ref blows the whistle and one team’s fans cheer. The other side boos their heads off. That is when I have a problem. In other words, don’t fake the funk on a nasty dunk. Don’t perpetrate a fraud. Just don’t bullshit a bullshitter. Don’t  act like what someone is doing is so terrible….when, if he was on your team, you’d be cheering. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. So the vote that just walked the party line for the democrats against paul Ryan’s Budget, I have no problem with it. The democrats fought two years for health care reform, they would not and should not and did not vote to defund and eliminate it. It is a no brainer.

With that said, this here is a flop  The flop I speak of is the republicans voting the party line to hold up the funding of health care for the first responders on 9/11. The same party that wraps itself in fatigues and flags every election cycle all of a sudden decided that health care was too expensive for heroes? From 9/11? Give me a break. Yet they took the flop…and their fans…I mean base cheered. Or this other flop This was where the GOP voted the party line against a bill that would ensure no new spending could happen unless it was paid for. Now tell me that doesn’t sound like a republican rule…not the republicans of the last thirty or so years mind you, but the ones currently. Yet they flopped and their base cheered. One of my favorite flops is this one The Stimulus Bill was not going to have any tax breaks in it. Through bipartisan meetings, a 1/3 of the bill was loaded with tax breaks per the republicans demand. What did that get the democrats? Five minutes for high sticking of course. The base goes wild for the right wing. Oh, why is that my favorite? Because of this. GOP Hypocrisy

In closing, the democrats voted the only way they could have. No phantom high stick here. No acting job. No selling the call. They voted the way they voted the first time. They voted for health care reform one last time. We hope……… I’m just curious what the right wing echo chamber decides to call this move?

crap4face

(the following is Joe Scarborough’s reaction to this story on twitter)

Hats off to Joe even responding to my entry. Very cool of him. But I still have a problem with his reasoning. The only reason the GOP voted against the Stimulus package was that it was brought forward by a democrat. That simple. It had nothing to do with the cost. If cost was a problem than Medicare Part D would of never passed. Not to mention the tax breaks for all….and we would have soldiers at home, safe and sound. So please do not hide behind the cloak of “fiscal responsibility”. The GOP has been spenders for longer than I was alive. All they have done is change the spending from one hand, to the other. For the record, tax breaks is government spending. Whether it be to everyday citizens or corporations. Citizens United will have you believe they are one in the same…but that is for another day.

I feel you can not accuse the dems of being the party of no, or demand reaction until they show a pattern of this or vote against something they have in the past supported. I think you jumped like this before Joe and didn’t think it through. JOE GOT SERVED    So let us just do like you say. Remain calm and carry on. Thanks for your response Mr. Scarborough. Good stuff. Good stuff.

Remember this going forward people. John Boehner and his boys were FOR the Bailouts, before they were AGAINST them.  I am not speaking out of line when I say the the vote would of been waaaay different had Obama been in office. I wonder what John Boehner’s definition of  “Put Country First” would have been.
