Stand Your Ground? No. Kiss My Ass!

Quite possibly the dumbest law ever put on the books in recent times. No, I don’t give a shit about a law in Mudlick, Kentucky that forbids dog walking on Saturday’s after 3pm while free balling in your overalls. I’m talking about real, enforced laws. Like the “Stand Your Ground” Law. This has got to take the cake. Shithead Alert sounds every time I think of this law. Talk about a slippery slope. Seems people who own guns only see the slippery slope when it comes to guys sucking other dude’s dicks and sick people getting health care. Other than that…it is free game. Oh, I forgot, don’t dare regulate anything having to do with guns either. In their world you should only be free to own huge guns to make up for the fact that they want to suck their best friend Tom’s cock and drive their pick up truck into the sunset to get married….but don’t pass a law that would allow that to happen. Like they say, “If you keep saying, being gay is a choice. That means that you’ve thought about it.”

This law can do no good. Now me, I have a hard time trusting Pirates. Every Pirate movie I have seen, they have been pretty much dicks. Even Johnny Depp was a dick in that Disney piece of shit movie. Charming. But a dishonest dick none the less. Does that mean I can go around shooting all Pirates. Seriously. I may not see them on Pirate Ships, but I do see tons of Pirates on the street. With their beards and bad hygiene. I feel threatened by them. Can I shoot them if I see one? That is ridiculous huh? You aint seen nothing yet. What about Tyra Banks? She is deathly afraid of dolphins. Does that mean she can just open fire on Flipper? Or Dan Marino for that matter?

What if Justin Beiber were in Florida. He decides to go to the mall. Girls spot him. Some dudes too. Dudes who more than likely own some big guns. They all let out a high pitch scream and rush towards him. Would he be justified if he pulled out a gun and started firing at them? In this instance, I would say yes. The world is a better place without them. Clearly I’m kidding about all these scenarios. Still doesn’t change the fact that the law is fucked up. Still doesn’t bring back Trayvon. Or the other people that have been killed in the name of this law.

He is... in no way, scarier than a pirate. A dolphin. Or a Justin Beiber fan. This we can agree on. Poor kid. Gone. And why? So gun lobbyists could make more money and NRA could wrap up more votes for the GOP. That is why FOX News has but ignored this story.

In closing, I’m sure we all agree that Geraldo is a douche. His comments were way out of line. Blaming the clothes that Trayvon was wearing on him getting shot is low. Yes Geraldo. I am so sure Trayvon would have been alive today if not for that hoody. I wager that Mr. Zimmerman would have shot and killed Wayne Brady that night. Wayne Brady wearing a Nickelback shirt and playing Angry Birds on his iPhone while singing a Hank Williams Jr song , and drinking a PBR! But hey, clothes make people do weird things. Like rape people according to Bill Oreilly.

 

Why didn’t Geraldo come out and say that Brandon White was only beaten because he was wearing “skinny jeans?” Just watch the clip.

 

To say that wearing “certain clothes” is why someone gets attacked  is just unreal to me. Who the hell says that? Especially today. That is the shit that Sam’s grandparents would say in “SIxteen Candles.” How the fuck can you be so out of touch to say that. When people say that kind of stuff…here is what I hear. ‘I have no problems with niggers. Just don’t dress so niggery” Or “I have no problem with fags. Just don’t be so faggy around me.” That is what I hear. But my shithead detector has always been top notch.

 

Hey Geraldo? If you get gay bashed after the show....is your clothes to blame? Or something like that...

 

I never did trust or like Geraldo. That is odd though. He doesn’t look like a Pirate. Maybe I just get creeped out by people who look like the love child of Frank Stallone and Ron Jeremy. He is very threatening. That moustache just screams, predator! So does Geraldo live in Florida?

 

By the way, Iraq and AFghanistan’s “Stand Your Ground” Law. How do you guys feel about that? After all. Invasions are kind of threatening. Just a tad. Now assault rifles pale in comparison as far as intimidation goes to Skittles and Arizon Iced Tea. But still!

I think this chart shows us one thing. We have now locked in, that the United States of America will have generations of people, who will hate us. Attack us. All this death for what?

I don't see "Terrorism" on this list. I see wilderness though.So why would go to "WAR" and spend trillions of dollars to fight terrorism. If saving lives was the priority, wouldn't universal health care be cheaper....and less....I don't know....deadly?

That sure is a ton of money we spent. All because of 18 guys with box cutters?

Keep the people poor and uneducated and you can ensure that the fuel for the military industrial complex is never ending. Keep those that have work, barely getting by and they will never have time to question or stand up for those shipping their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and neighbors, off to die!

Heroes Don’t Piss on Anyone

I received the news a few hours ago about the footage of our soldiers pissing all over the dead Taliban members. Since that time I’ve heard some pretty dumb thoughts from people trying to excuse what the soldiers did. I’ve heard, “War is hell.” A couple guys saying, “How many times have you been in war? You don’t know what it’s like!” So on and so forth.

That’s all bullshit! Guess what? These soldiers become role models right when they put that uniform on! Don’t hand me that stupid fucking line, “That is why our boys are still over there. They have to fight like role models and not like soldiers!” If that is the case, tell the public then to stop holding our soldiers up like they are some kind of role models/heroes! If they need to be heartless killing machines to win a war, maybe we should stop sending out mass emails with “Pray for our soldiers” in the topic section. Stop lighting Christmas candles on Facebook for them. Stop showing the “Surprise Homecomings” when a soldier pulls off the Santa disguise and tears roll down his family’s face as they see their father and husband….or is it a killing machine? After today, I’m not sure what would be correct.

These men and women in uniform are role models whether they like it or not. They are representing America. If they do not want to be held up as role models/heroes, then don’t enlist. They were not drafted. They volunteered. How quickly we will condemn an athlete who might get caught up in the moment and spit on another player or make an obscene gesture on TV. Yet defend a soldier standing over another dead human being as he pisses all over them, looks at the person recording and says, “You’re recording this right?” We also hear another soldier say, “Hope you’re having a great morning guys” as him and his fellow American soldiers laugh and continue to urinate on the bloody corpses.

Now I have also heard, “These soldiers don’t represent all soldiers!” This I know for sure. But to just say that and think it is enough is foolish and irresponsible.

 

This here. This is bravery. I'd like to say the man capable of this, would not be capable of urinating on the bloody corpse of an enemy soldier.

I think the answer is no. After this Reagan retaliated by leaving. No surprise. After all, to secure hostages he gave weapons to terrorists. To battle an already crumbling Soviet Union he continued to funnel money and weapons to bin Laden and his cohorts.

So when I hear the neo cons say we need to embrace the principles laid forth by Ronald Reagan, I wonder what part. The cut and run? The fund and arm the terrorists? The amnesty of millions of illegal aliens?  The raising of taxes eleven times? Who knows?

bin Laden Was Killed. So Why Are People Upset?

 bin Laden has been shot and killed. Dead. Done. Barack Obama gave the order to take him out and SEAL Team 6 took him out. So why are people playing politics over this. It amuses me of the hypocrisy from the right. It truly does.

 When Clinton was President, he failed to act and bin Laden got away. He was buried for it by the right for being weak.  They said he lacked balls for not being able to get the job done. Clinton’s Missed Chances. After the 9-11 attacks, the right then took it upon themselves to point to Clinton again. Clinton Blamed. Funny how the right seemed to forget that their hero funded bin Laden and his boys for years. Ultimately creating the beast. Reagan Hearts bin Laden. I never heard anyone on the right make that connection. Not one. The days after 9-11, George W. Bush vowed to get bin Laden. Wanted Dead or Alive. Bush then deployed troops to Afghanistan…as quickly as that began, he left bin Laden and set his sites on Sadaam and Iraq. Even the Dixie Chicks knew that was a bat shit crazy move. They paid the price for that though. Dixie Chicks black balled. Funny isn’t it. I don’t recall the right defending freedom of speech then. I guess they only chime in for important issues like this. Anyway, back to my rant. Even before Bush has us go into Iraq, he is asked about bin Laden. His answer speaks volumes.

  So after Bill Clinton never had the balls to green light an operation to get him. After George W. Bush never had the balls to follow through either. Bush Fails to Act.  After Barack Obama came into office and vowed to kill bin Laden, he does so, and people attack him. The right is quick to point that it was the military who did it. Really? No shit. But who would they blame if the SEAL Team was captured or killed. Whose fault would it have been if bin Laden escaped? Now, maybe my military knowledge needs some brushing up on, but isn’t our military the same as it was… for like the last twenty years or so. I mean, what has changed? Clinton had this military. Bush had this military. Seems to me the only difference I see is Commander in Chief.

  I find it very disturbing the way the right is reacting…and the left for that matter.  The right is going after Obama because, in their opinion, is taking all the credit for killing bin Laden. Like this. Countless other bobble heads in the right wing echo chamber have chimed in as well. All I ever heard about Obama from the conservatives was that all he did was give good speeches. That he was an untested man. That he was not a man of action and spineless when it came to big decisions. So I would think that when this man of no action gives the green light on an operation to kill America’s number one enemy, that the right would be estatic that he is finally showing a spine. Nope. Instead they are mad at Obama for not making a good speech. Here is one example.  So what gives? It truly makes me question the civility. It really makes me angry. I understand that you wanted “your guy” to get him. But he didn’t. Was the goal to get rid of bin Laden? So if a goal is accomplished, why the bitching?  It truly makes me think if the right wing would of supported Al Gore or not, had he been President during 9-11. From what I am seeing, I say no. No they wouldn’t have. That is sad. That is disgusting. That is politics.

Derek should have met his son for the first time today. He should have gotten off the bus with the rest of his platoon and hug me and kiss me. He should have been able to hug and kiss his mother, father, brothers, nieces, and nephew. He should have been able to eat his favorite dinner: lasagna, green bean casserole, and garlic bread. He should have been able to sleep in his own bed, taken a real shower in his own home, and slept in bed holding his wife and sleeping thru the baby crying. He should have been able to do all the things he deserved to do with/in his life. We should have been able to raise our child and grow old together. Please Pete, dont let them forget. Do not give the men and women in power the satisfaction of being able to go thru their day to day lives without feeling a fraction of the pain my family and the 23 other families like mine have to live with every day. Do not let them live in a naive bliss that comes with the comfort of money and power. To the people who are guiding and feeding this out of control war, the military is like a hooker. They dont care what the individual person’s story is or wither the hookers of the world are taken care of, all they care about is getting what they paid for getting back to their families. Forgotten as soon as they are introduced. Just another face in the crowd. Just another story they are not actuaclly interested in. Just more people they can fuck over and but then say “we support you, but we dont feel that your family is more important than continuing with this war” and “your husband died for our nation and establishing democracy in a poor country…….but we will bitch about Planned Parenthood funding before we concern ourselves with making sure you get paid.” Dont let them forget that those funerals they attend have real bodies in those caskets and those men and women in uniform they “support” are actually dying. I know you dont have the power to end this war, but you have the voice to make America listen and begin to understand. Take care
